Hi, fiction lover! How are you doing? It’s December, and we’re gearing up for gift-giving season. This post is going to be perfect for you if you’re a TXT fan, or if you know someone who is! I’m going to talk about some TXT inspired books. These are novels that lean on the K-pop side of things. However, we have one surprise that’s pretty fitting for the band’s fantasy side. Are we ready to dive in?

Me Rediscovering a Novel From This List of TXT Inspired Books
Idol Gossip

I did a fun post about Idol Gossip that I’ll link here! This one is such a fun one that dives into the world of K-pop, uncovering a lot of its dark secrets. In this novel, we have the talented vocalist Alice, who has to learn how to adjust to the harsh trainee life in Top10. Read my full review of the book if this sounds interesting to you! I will say, this one might not be completely aligned with what TOMORROW X TOGETHER went through in their own trainee years, but it’s definitely accurate in terms of the long hours and the sacrifices that must be made.
Wish Upon a K-Star

Wish Upon a K-Star scratched every itch that I didn’t know I had about a K-pop star variety show slash actress mashup. Honestly, this book made me want to keep turning the page to find out what will happen to Hyeri and her career, which was going up in flames with every chapter. Moonster, the boy band member and love interest, is charming and protective. They make a good match, and an even better couple when they must work together on a show called “My Celebrity Marriage.” I’ll let you guess how that one works out! But if you’re into the fake dating trope, you’re going to love this.
Comeback

Honestly, this one is the most TXT-coded on the surface. After all, the boys on the cover could very much be TXT. I could not leave this one out when talking about TXT inspired books. This is an indie book that rocked my world in terms of what a K-pop novel could be. Honestly, Comeback is a trendsetter! You know I love my dual POVs, and here we have alternating perspectives from Emery (M)—the K-pop idol—and Alana, who runs away to Seoul after a tragic loss. The boy band NEON reminds me a lot of TXT!
When Haru Was Here

We have our fantasy twist! When Haru Was Here is giving fantasy and romance, with themes of loss and love. We know that TXT is no stranger to the fantasy concept. They even based a lot of their lore on The Little Prince. In their music videos, such as “Nap of a star” and “Magic Island,” they explore the magical side of their complex storyline. When Haru Was Here has the same magical and mysterious aspect as many of TXT’s songs. To me, this book represents the group’s colors.
XOXO

I love Axie Oh’s books, and I couldn’t leave out XOXO. XOXO is a forbidden romance story that follows cello prodigy, Jenny. Her love interest is Jaewoo, a K-pop idol who is definitely not allowed to date. But of course, she doesn’t know about his identity at first! I loved being transported into Seoul, taking adventures around the city through the pages. If you’re looking to get an authentic glimpse of South Korea’s capital, this is the one for you! And can we talk about the stunning cover? It makes me want to add it to my physical collection so bad!

Thank You for Reading About These TXT Inspired Books! (And Happy Birthday, Soobin!)
